Joyce and Cecilia are a great team. They provided great customer service while I purchased my dress from their store. They were very helpful with customizing the perfect veil for my wedding dress too.

The Bridal Boutique is the BEST bridal salon on Oahu! Cecilia and Joyce are the most down to earth ladies that I have meet! They are both so sweet and friendly, and they have the best customer service I have experienced! Bridal Boutique was our last bridal salon, which I wished I went there in the beginning, because these two ladies really helped my mom and I out so much. I feel in love with the service that we got from the Bridal Boutique, we ended buying everything from there (down to the flower girl baskets and the hand made flower for my hair by Yee Mei). Joyce and Cecilia even tried to help us save money by suggesting to purchase the flower girls dresses at their trunk show (what owners would really do that?), but since I felt they gave us such excellent service, we decided to not to wait and just gave them the business anyway. I would highly recommend the Bridal Boutique as the first bridal salon to start at, you would regret it!

I heard about the Bridal Boutique through the wedding cafe which was the main reason I purchased my bridesmaids dresses here. The wedding cafe has a one night only 40% of special that I took advantage of. The whole process was easy and simple. Setting appointments and coming in for fittings were great. Joyce and Cecilia were great to work with and Yee Mei the seamstress fitted and altered the dressed perfectly to each of my girl's bodies. The only thing I was not aware of when purchasing the dresses, was that there was a shipping fee for each dress tacked on. I did save 40% off each dress, but the shipping did add up as well as the alterations afterwards. Thinking back, yes maybe it's something I shouldve known myself and calculated in, but its a simple thing to forget. Other than that, they were great and all my bridesmaids looked perfect.

These ladies are so busy; it really is just Cecilia and Joyce to handle this 6-day (probably 7-day) a week operation.... I can understand how they could forget a follow up here and there... You gotta give them a break!!! They are human too!!!! I personally feel, if it is really that important to you, you will follow up with them... Don't be afraid to ask them, that's what I did, and they were so sweet and willing to answer my questions.
All in all, I would highly recommend the Bridal Boutique! Cecilia and Joyce are very helpful and so friendly. I especially liked they are a local business and I wanted to support local business in Honolulu...

WORST BRIDAL BOUTIQUE EXPERIENCE EVER. MY WEDDING DRESS IS RUINED. READ BELOW: \r\nI purchased it at the Bridal Boutique of Honolulu. It is the Casablanca 1959. I wanted a mermaid style dress. I purchased this one because the seamstress told me she could easily make it into a mermaid dress. She loosely pinned it here as you can see the day I purchased it so I could get an idea of how it would look. We also discussed adding more tool or a slip to make it more dramatic at the bottom. How excited I was thinking, no other bride would have my wedding dress bc we were going to change this one!\r\nThat excitement went away. My fiancée is in the Navy. We are stationed on the tiny island of Kauai. I flew over to Oahu for a weekend to wedding dress shop. I found this one and was excited. I left the dress there and scheduled a fitting in November for a wedding in April 2011.. The wedding then got moved to September of 2011. I decided I didn’t want the dress altered yet because the wedding was moved until too far out and I didn’t want my weight to change too much in that amount of time. And frankly altering a dress almost a year out just seems a little scary to me. \r\nI left the boutique and flew back to Kauai. Yee Mei, the seamstress and I talked maybe 5 minutes about what needed to be done. She said she starts altering after she receives half the money. \r\nNow....I never sent the money and Yee Mei has altered my dress based on the loose pinning’s she did to show me the idea of how the dress could look. My fiancée’s co-worker was over in Oahu and I asked if she could please pick up my dress bc the wedding was so far out and it would save us some $$. \r\nI called the boutique and spoke to the owner Celcia, who was there the day I purchased the dress. I explained the wedding had been moved, I didn’t want alterations, and my friend would pick up the dress for me today. She said ok great. I get a call about an hour later. Celcia said I owed for my alterations. I told her no, she was probably just looking at the ticket or estimate of work that would be done. I explained I did not want alterations done to the dress. She apologized and we hung up.\r\nNext thing I know my friend is there and I am back on the phone with Celcia bc she is saying she will not release my dress until I pay for the quality alterations that were done. I was very upset as you can imagine. I never asked for the alterations to be done, I never came for a fitting, and I never sent half the money! She argued with me saying, yes it was a mistake on their end but the work was done and they needed to be paid. At that point my smart fiancée got on the phone. He used this analogy. You do not take your car in to a mechanic; they do work, then call you and tell you how much you owe. She then understood. She apologized and said that they were sorry it was their fault but she knew I would be so very pleased with the quality work that was done. She gave my dress to my friend free of alterations charge. I then felt bad, being the nice person I was thinking I would get quality work for free. I told Celcia that if I got the dress and the work was what I wanted, despite in my head wondering how 5 min of talking and 2 min of loose pinning could turn into quality alterations, said I would pay for the work if I got the dress and liked it.\r\nAlterations were done to my dress I did not give permission for or want done. Now I have tried contacting them several times, keep in mind I live on a different island. I even emailed them a video. They are telling me that since I have the dress in my possession they will do nothing to fix ruining my wedding dress. This has been a nightmare. \r\nWORST QUALITY SERVICE.

I was impressed with the Bridal Boutique. I actually bought my dress on the mainland and brought it here to be altered - bustled and hemmed. I also had some buttons sewn on so that I could attach a strap. They did an awesome job, and the quality was good - only thing was that the bustle broke halfway through the reception, but that might have been my fault for dancing too much! I was impressed with their work.

When I started looking for a dress after my engagement, I stopped at Bridal Boutique first. Even though it would be a hectic evening for Cecilia and Joyce, I felt so welcomed. Their customer service was memorable, so as soon as I had visited all other wedding dress boutiques in Honolulu, and still had not found my dress, I went back to Bridal Boutique just because of their service, and voila my second visit I found my dress! Cecilia was wonderful each step of the way, even when I got a bit nervous, she always knew who I was as soon as I walked into the boutique, it made the whole process of getting my wedding dress completely personal, like I was the only bride there.
I Strongly recommend their boutique not just because you might find the dress of your dreams but also because their quality of service is unforgettable!

The Bridal Boutique has a nice variety of dresses. I found my dream wedding dress there. Cecilia one of the owners is a pleasure to work with and is very helpful. The only complaint i have is with the seamstress they use. I went in for my 2nd dress fitting and the top part was still big and she told me that i shouldn't take it in anymore and it fit fine. I knew that it seemed loose but i figured she's a professional so she knows what to do. Well i was right and the entire wedding i had to keep pulling up the top of my dress because it was too big. Overall I really like the Bridal Boutique but i suggest that if you think somethings wrong go with your gut feeling so you aren't constantly picking up your dress the day of your wedding like i did.

I used the Bridal Boutique for my alterations (hem, bustle, and taking in the bust). I communicated via email to set up my appointments, and was extremely satisfied with the quick responses! I really liked the seamstress they use. She was really friendly and I loved the bustle she made for my dress. The only disappointment I had was that one of the loops for my bustle came out so we had to use a safety pin as a temporary fix for the rest of the reception. Overall, I am satisfied with this vendor.

My initial encounters with the owners at bridal boutique were very positive. They were helpful, flexible with there appointment times, and not pushy at all. I went there 3 times to visit a dress I really liked before I made my final decision to order the dress. I didn't have the "this is the dress" moment but the dress I ordered had the potential with some alterations. They assured me that they can do any alterations to it to make it "the one". So one of the owners took down notes on a post it and wrote down what alterations I wanted, and confirmed it with there seamstress for a quote. Out of curiosity, I asked them why do I have to order the dress 6-8 months prior to the wedding. They mentioned most dresses are made to order and some designers don't have a lot in stock.
So fast forward to June 2010. My wedding is 9/18/10. I called them and asked when should I expect to come in for my first fitting. They said the dress should come in the ending of July. I noticed they haven't called me yet and it was already first week of August. I called them to follow up, and they said "I just spoke to the company and they said it'll be here on August 16. I was very concerned, but they assured me it will be ok. Then, it was close to the ending of August, and no phone call. I'm freaking out! I called them and they said, "oh we have your dress in. It's been in for a few days now but because of our trunk show we didn't have a chance to call you." At this time, I'm very concerned, and I made the next available appt.I show up to my fitting and took one look at the dress and knew something was wrong. It was the wrong F---- color!!! I ordered ivory but this dress was like a beige. Very politely, I said, "I know it's been a while since I seen the dress, but I think its the wrong color." They said, "No, you ordered ivory, this is the color you ordered." I told one of the owners, "no, the dress I tried on I was told that it was ivory, and I took a picture on my phone, and this isn't the color." She said, "okay we can take a look at your phone." Like I was lying...Meanwhile the seamstress told me to just try the dress and see how I feel. I put the dress on reluctantly. While she was pinning me, I was telling her what I wanted to do as far as alterations. She told me what I wanted to do was going to cost $100 more than what she quoted because it wasn't specified in the owners notes exactly what I wanted. Then, on top of that they finally figured out the dress I ordered comes with 2 ivories, one darker then the other, and they didn't specify which color on the order!!! I wanted to vomit, faint; which ever came first. She apologized and she said they can 2 day air it, but they have to wait till the morning to see if they have the color in stock. Knowing from our conversation earlier that the stock os limited, I asked worst case senerio if they don't have it in stock then what. She said you can either go with the dress they ordered or they can refund my money. But still no dress!!! And to add more insult to injury, they said my sisters bridesmaid dress will come in the week of the wedding. Being a bridezilla is not my style, I just left in tears.
Okay to fast forward this really long and unfortunate story. They were able to get a dress in the right color but larger size, do my alterations and get it done days before my wedding, my sisters dress came in 3 days before the wedding and still needed to be altered, and after all the great customer service (i'm being sarcastic) they had the balls to not offer any type of compensation for the trouble. I had to ask for it and they gave me a measly $100 off to balance the additional $100 the seamstress was going to charge me. The amount doesn't bother me, it's the lack of intention to smooth things over and try to make me a little happy. And initially I worked with one of the owners, the one who ordered the wrong color, but before that she was very nice to me. But after the mix up, the other owner worked with me, and the first lady just ignored me each time I went in, and made the experience very uncomfortable.
In the end, this was the only vendor that stressed me out. I don't like to over-complicate things and don't really dig the idea a being a bridezilla. But it comes to show sometimes you have to be a bitch to get what you want, cause nice people come in last. I went with this company at first because I thought I was going to get boutique individualized costumer service. I think I would have had better service if I went with david's bridal. I feel they have ruined my whole experience in the looking for "the dress". I feel the only positive thing that came out of this experience is to warn other brides of my own. They have a nice selection of dresses, but very bad costumer service. If you find a dress you like from there, you should take down it's information and see what other stores carry that dress.

First of all, I got a good deal on my bridesmaids dresses. I heard good things about them through online and that's why I went and got my dresses from them. Boy was I wrong! I ordered our dresses 6 months before the wedding but the dresses didn't arrive on time as promised to me 3 times. Instead, it arrived 2 days before my wedding and because it required alteration, we didn't get the dresses till the next day. The service we got at that time was not what I expected it to be. It's their fault for not getting my dress on time and they have the nerve to say that the dresses WERE NOT LATE BECAUSE THE WEDDING DIDN'T HAPPEN YET!!! To me, they don't have professionalism! They don't care and understand what we, the brides, feel when this stuff happens. They wasted a lot of our time. If you want to buy their products, by all means, go ahead but I warn you. You don't want the stress I went through.

Although I did not purchase my dress from the Bridal Boutique, I did get it altered there (I'm originally from Chicago so I went back to get my dress with my family and friends, but I needed it to be altered in Honolulu where I live). The Bridal Boutique was one of the few places that was willing to alter a dress that wasn't purchased from them and they gave me great customer service regardless. They were friendly and accommodating. My only gripe is that the alterations were pretty expensive, although this isn't really a reflection of the store but rather the seamstress. But the dress fit PERFECTLY and she changed the way the tulle laid over the satin on the bottom of the dress, so I guess it makes sense.
Also, I had shopped for bridesmaid dresses while in Chicago but one of my bridesmaids was from Honolulu and I wanted her to try on the dress to see if she liked it. The Bridal Boutique didn't have the dress in stock (neither did any other Honolulu bridal shop), but they were able to find a similar style by another designer for my bridesmaid to try on. I was really surprised with how willing they were to help me even though they weren't making any money off of a sale! That says a lot about a store.
I'd definitely recommend them over some of the other dress shops I visited in Honolulu.

I absolutely loved my experience at Bridal Boutique! Everyone, especially, Cecilia, were so kind and helpful! I was able to take advantage of their 40% off the entire store sale a few months ago and saved BIG time for my wedding gown. I highly recommend Bridal Boutique. They definitely know their wedding stuff!

Awful communication!!! I went down and ordered my mother's dress and paid for it in full. I was told the date of the expected arrival date which was months before my wedding. My mom was going to need alterations so I called them around the date the dress was supposed to come in to schedule her fitting. Well, they couldn't find the dress and after about a day they told me they never ordered the dress. They said the dress company stopped making their matron line. Hello! They never bothered to call me to let me know. At that time, they already had my money and the only thing we could do was to choose a dress from in the store because it was too late to order a new one. The worst part about all of this was not that the dress company stopped making that particular dress but it was that the owners never once called me to let me know. I was so disappointed in their professionalism as a company. It was so much stress and that was only for my mother's dress. I wouldn't suggest anyone go here unless you're prepared to do all the follow ups on your own. They ruined my wedding experience!!!!!

My girls at BB are fantastic. I am happy to say I think of them as friends after getting my dresses from them. They made me two beautiful custom dresses which I will love and cherish forever. They really care about your day and will bend over backwards for you. They even stayed open past business hours so I could corral my entire bridal party and have everyone together to get their attire.
I will only ever shop with them.

I needed my dress stored after my previous bridal shop went out of business. The Bridal Boutique was fantastic. They gave me a very reasonable storage rate, great flexibility in letting me pick up and drop off my dress whenever I needed to, and did a beautiful job pressing my dress for my wedding day. They were easy to work with and the shop has great hours, so I could always find time to drop-in. Always friendly, a fun yet professional business!
