We loved everything about Loulu Palm Estate!  The staff, the venue, the private beach, the large green lawn.  Let me start off by saying that Kristina is the best person to work with.  She is professional, caring, thoughtful, and everything you wish for in a wedding coordinator.  My budget didn't call for a wedding planner so I hired her as a wedding day coordinator and she did more than coordinate the day of the wedding.  She went above and beyond than what I expected.  She made planning this wedding easy, pain free, and stress free.  The day of the wedding went by so smoothly all thanks to her and her assistant Renee.  They set up at the reception area better than what I had pictured it in my head.  She had great ideas for place setting displays, table numbers and centerpieces.  She knew my wedding budget was low and she worked with it and made it the most perfect wedding ever.  Other staff involved were  the care takers of the venue and they keep the venue pristine and perfect.  They were also very helpful the day of the wedding when it came to set up and making sure the wedding party had everything they needed.  They also kept the inside of the house clean and well maintained.  I just know my wedding pictures will come out perfect because the house is perfect.  The beach is perfect for pictures and has the best sunsets of the island.  Our wedding came out perfect and it was all because of the people who work for Loulu Palm Estates.  I wouldn't change anything about our wedding!!

We just had our wedding in March at Loulu Palm Estate, and couldn't have been happier with the venue. Linda, the property manager, is a dream to work with--she was very responsive to all my questions, which was especially important since I was planning the wedding from a distance. They were very accommodating, and the property is very well-managed. The location is absolutely breathtaking and the property is well taken care of. Everything ran perfectly and we really did have the best day of our lives!

We just had our wedding on March 1 at Loulu Palm and WOW!! Words cannot explain how beautiful that venue is! It is far more breath taking than the pictures!! Plus the service is excellent!! Kristina and Linda from Loulu Palm were so amazing to work with!! They were thorough, fast to respond to my (many) questions, helpful and reliable!! I received SOOO many compliments on the venue from all of our wedding guests. I would highly recommend this venue for your wedding or special event. I am a Special Events Manager in New York City and have worked with many venues and vendors and I was thoroughly impressed!!! If you go with Loulu Palm, you will be in good hands!! I cannot thank them enough for such an amazing wedding!!!

Wedding: 2/15/12
I was married February 15th at Loulu Palm Estate and couldn't have imagined a more beautiful venue. We live in Hawaii and of all the wedding venues on the island, Loulu by far, was the most beautiful and tropical. All of my guests raved about how beautiful it was as soon as they stepped out of the car. Linda and the staff were so helpful, friendly and more than accommodating. I really don't have anything negative to say about the experience. I had a very large wedding party of 8 bridesmaids and being able to get ready on site, in so much space and in such a beautiful home was so wonderful.

Wedding: 1/14/12
When I first started planning my destination wedding in Hawaii, I had no idea how to go about finding the best possible venue. My husband and I wanted to renew our vows and invite our closest family and friends to witness this special event. For sure we wanted to stay in the North Shore since it was much more quieter and less crowded than the Waikiki side. With an intimate beach setting and budget in mind, I stumbled upon the Loulu Palm Estate website. Let's just say I stopped searching for other venues soon after that. Everything else in the planning just all fell into place. Kristina was our initial contact at Loulu and answered all the questions my husband and I had and really took the time to listen to what we envisioned. We decided to have her as our wedding coordinator and it was such a blessing to work with her. She had us at ease at all times and gave suggestions when we needed them since we weren't there physically to make some of the decisions. Since everything was planned from the mainland it wasn't until the day before the wedding did we arrive at the estate. The pictures on the site don't do it justice. You have to be there on the grounds of the estate to actually see what we mean. It was absolutely gorgeous and breathtaking! We loved the location and the secludedness of the beach. The beach served as a beautiful backdrop during the ceremony. The plantation home on the property was well maintained and had a serenity feeling to it. We heard nothing but positive feedback from our guests as they too, weren't expecting how unbelievably gorgeous the ceremony and reception was going to be. Our guests would not stop talking about how much of an awesome time they had, as we did too! We had a Hawaiian Luau themed wedding. From the flower decor, table settings, to the tiki torches, gorgeous bamboo arch, to the luau buffet, tiki bar, to the guitar soloist and tahitian dancers...it was everything we imagined it to be. The weather cooperated with us which paved way for a breathtaking night. We even had a fire pit going towards the end! It was memories made that we will hold forever in our hearts. If we could do it all over again, we would..of course minus the planning part =) Our wedding in paradise was a success! Loulu Palm Estate certainly served for that purpose. We are so glad we were able to find this hidden gem in the North Shore!

My husband and I give Loulu Palm Estate and Linda and her crew a solid 5 stars. The whole property is just breathtaking...literally! I caught my breath when we first saw it. If you like the beach, it has a private beach. If you like the mountains, it has a mountain backdrop. If you like garden, it has garden areas along the sides and throughout the property, and I hear they're planning on creating a larger one by the Yurt. We also had the property for practically the whole day, not just a few rushed hours until the next party comes along after your event. Your day is just that...the WHOLE day.
Linda and crew were very professional, kept in touch with us, and answered all of our questions. Most importantly to me, they were NEVER pushy with us. She even provided referrals when we didn't know who to contact for our other vendors. My husband and I had an offbeat wedding and Linda was generous with our requests; something I didn't think would ever happen anywhere. I felt blessed that I could have what I wanted at our wedding.
We couldn't have found a better venue nor a better crew. We're definitely recommending LPE to everyone. Next stop...baby's first birthday? We'll keep in touch.

The Loulu Palm Estate was absolutely breathtaking. It is secluded and right down the road from Turtle Bay Resort. The house is beautiful and the lawn is amazing. All of my guests were in awe at the property. I planned the wedding from Texas and did not see the venue until the day before the wedding. I was extremely happy with the venue and the ammenities that it provided. It is a true hidden gem on the North Shore of Oahu.

Picking a wedding venue sight unseen can be pretty risky but I was so thrilled when we saw the venue for the very first time only days before the wedding.
One of the most important aspects of my wedding was that I wanted it to feel private and intimate and this is exactly what Loulu Palms delivered. The beach was completely private and the entire property was great for our guests to roam about throughout the night.
The grounds are beautiful and well kept maintained. It was simply a stunning place to get married. We had the beatiful ocean on one side of us and the green lush mountains to the other side.
Our guests raved about the site all night long!
Not only was the site perfect but so were the property managers! We first met them at the rehearsal and they were so sweet and so happy to have us there.
Our wedding ended at 10pm and then we were able to stay for two more hours and finish the night off with music around a bonfire. It was the perfect end to the night and I highly recommend this option for wedding parties that dont want their night to end at 10pm. A special thanks to Lance for being so wonderful during those two hours!
Loulu Palm is a beautiful wedding site and it was just how my wedding coordinator described it, a blank canvas that you mold into your dream wedding.
Loved every bit of it! Highly recommend!

In August we had the pleasure of hosting my sister's wedding at Loulu Palms Estate. I say pleasure, because that is what the entire experience was. In addition to being a lucky sister of the bride, I am also a professional wedding consultant. Over the years I have worked with countless venues and I feel that what Loulu is currently doing is to be commended. Their new management team is professional, kind, and gracious. In fact, it felt as if we were holding the wedding at the estate of a friend, rather than a rented venue. Linda handles their bookings and she was always quick to get back to us, offering much needed suggestions and important information. Carol, their resident caretaker, was so warm and willing to offer her services as well.
Loulu was perfect for our Hawaii born family, as well as our guests from afar. The property is a beautifully, private spot, that really is true to the "old Hawaii" feeling. The quaint plantation home has recently been redecorated and the fresh flowers they provide make it feel even that much more special on the wedding day. They also have some beautiful and reasonable props for rent (bar, bamboo ceremony arch, and gas grill) that can help couples save money and time. Not to mention, they provide a dumpster for you at no additional cost. This too is a big savings for couples that don't realize most (if not all) estate venues require that you hire your catering team to remove trash, or rent a dumpster which is about $200-$300.
I have worked at Loulu prior to my sisters wedding and have always thought the property a wonderful place for a wedding. Recently though they have improved upon "wonderful" and I happily recommend them again and again.
Aloha Linda and Loulu!!!

Wedding: 6/25/11
We immediate fell in love with Loulu Palm Estate the minute we saw it back in April 2010. The venue and ocean views are breathtaking and the plantation house reminded me of where my mom and her brothers grew up. It was so understated and simple, and it could not have been more perfect for our wedding.
We had read some not so great reviews about the venue but Kristina explained the misunderstanding. She was so honest and reassuring we decided to book LPE without even looking at other venues on Oahu. The lawn, beach, bathrooms, bridal suite and parking space seemed like a good package and we were happy with our decision. At first, we were a little hesitant about their requirement to use Pacific Party Rentals for the tenting and rentals because we had heard nightmare stories about "preferred vendors" however PPR's customer service is awesome and their rentals are in superb condition. We quickly understood why LPE requires clients to use their services. Trust them on this.
LPE changed management several months before our wedding and we couldn't have been happier with it. Linda was really on top of things and she always responded within 24 hours. She even asked if we wanted to drop things off the day before since they didn't have an event so we could get things in early. Carol was our day of contact and she was so sweet. We really feel like they went above and beyond help with us with our wedding.
Our guests continue to tell us what a beautiful wedding it was. We feel so fortunate to not only have had such a great venue but such an awesome team behind it.

We had our wedding and reception at the Loulu Palm Estate this past June and we were extremely happy with the venue itself and the service we received. The venue itself is stunning, with a large well-kept lawn going from the house to the beach. We had our ceremony on the grass near the beach, and our reception under a large tent in the middle of the lawn. This place makes for great pictures, and our guests loved visiting a place many of them hadn't been to before.
The service was, quite honestly, excellent. We worked with Linda, who went above and beyond in seeing to it that everything went smoothly. She was very flexible, gave us great advice, and was in touch with us often leading up to and following the big day. The wedding business is an industry here on Oahu, but we felt like we got personalized service and were treated very well. When we first booked the venue, it was under different management, but since changing management we noticed a much more individualized level of service. We felt like Linda was looking out for us, and even when we ran into stumbling blocks with a vendor, she made sure it was all sorted out.
We both were very pleased with Loulu Palm, and we'd definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet, beautiful setting for their wedding.

When we were looking at locations in July of 2010 for our destination wedding on the North Shore of Oahu in June 2011 we were finding it difficult to find a location that could not only accommodate the amount of people that would be potentially attending, but also had the feel we wanted. When we came across Loulu Palm Estate it seemed to be exactly what we were looking for in every way.
Prior to our appointment to view the property we had read numerous negative reviews with regards to management and professionalism. This would obviously be a major concern for anyone, and quite frankly almost deterred us from keeping our appointment. However, after speaking with Kristina about our concerns we felt confident that any questions or misunderstandings from previous postings had been answered to our satisfaction.
The venue, as many of our guest have repeatedly stated, is the most beautiful, perfect place one could have imagined for a wedding. The little white cottage, vast lawn, and beautiful beach provided a backdrop and experience for all to remember. When it comes to the North Shore there is nothing like it.
With regards to management, they couldn't have been more professional and provided a quality of service that truly embodied the "Aloha" of Hawaii. In fact, Loulu Palm had installed new management since our initial booking of the property, and we couldn't have been happier. Linda was so prompt in responding to emails and calls; usually within 24 hours if not sooner. She was also very accommodating in allowing us to stop by as many times as was necessary throughout the week to iron out any details. And Carol was unbelievable! Her energy and kindness will be forever appreciated. She went above and beyond prior, during, and after the wedding. We will definitely stop to say hello next time we are there. In all, they were incredible and made our day spectacular.
Overall, our experience was magical and will be remembered forever. Loulu Palm is an incredible place and comes HIGHLY recommended. You will not be disappointed. We are still reliving the day and would not change a thing. ALOHA!

We got married in June 2011, and it was exquisite. I truly had the wedding of my dreams thanks to Kristina and Loulu Palm Estate.
Kristina helped with the planning throughout our entire engagement - she was responsive and had fantastic suggestions, and really made an effort to get to know my vision. She has a fantastic heart and made the entire process so smooth and easy for me.
I was such a laid-back bride because of the care that Kristina, the Estate and their trusted vendors put into our day. It was perfect and I wouldn't have changed a thing. Cheers!

Wow! After a great deal of searching, my husband and I looked at and booked Loulu Palm Estate just three weeks before our wedding!! Linda was so accommodating as to when we could come and see it and even offered us time for a dress rehearsal the day before if we wanted. The yard was perfectly manicured and furniture was set up in the house just for us to get ready and take photos in. They provided a refrigerator for our caterer to use and they didn't require a per person fee to use the property. Also provided was a bamboo arch for our ceremony!!
I have never seen a more beautiful wedding venue in my life. My father had been pushing us to get married at the resort he would be staying at based on photos he had seen of the resort. In my entire life I have never ever heard my father say He was wrong. It is always that he "Stands corrected." Well after one look at Loulu Palm, he came back and told me, in front of everyone, that when He's Wrong, he says he's wrong and he was wrong about the other venue. He couldn't imagine a more beautiful and perfect place for my wedding than Loulu Palm. That says it all....

I have to say...we had the perfect wedding. The property sells itself no doubt but thanks to Kristina and the staff at Loulu Palm it made our experience that much better. Kristina was so patient and helpful when it came to answering all my questions, and I had a lot. I even made several trips up to the property during our planning, they were so nice and accomodating to let me stop by as many times as I did. I did most of the planning up until the last four weeks when we hired Alicia with Milestone Events. She was truly amazing to work with and was very professional. It's a good idea to choose a vendor and planner who knows the property. Alicia executed our vision with perfection and more. The food was catered by Vanessa at Beaches and Backyards, AMAZING food, professional and also very easy to work with. Sheryl at Pacific Party Rentals was also very professional, patient and accomodating to all the different changes we made throughout our planning. Sheryl and her staff worked very hard with us to provide the vision we wanted. The quality of their equipment was so nice, clean and beautiful. The flowers by Flower Farm were impeccable. I was speechless. Another wonderful vendor to work with that I HIGHLY recommend.
Our experience was more than wonderful, I would do it all over again.

If you ever want to have the perfect beach wedding you want to look at the Loulu Palm Estate. This location is a dream come true. My wedding pictures are so beautiful and the location is the reason why. My ceremony overlooks the ocean. The grass extends right up to the ocean so you don't have to worry about sand in your shoes or on your feet. One big plus is that you can have the ceremony and reception all in the same location so your guests are not driving all over the place. After the ceremony we had a variety of places to take pictures, both on and off the beach. For those guests who indeed wanted to take pictures on the beach with sand in their toes, they had the opportunity to do this as well. The reception was also breathtaking. You can sit down for dinner with the backdrop of the ocean on one side and the mountains on the other. One suggestion we have is to look up the sunset time, we moved all the festivities over to the beach to take sunset pictures. It truly was magnificent. The staff was also a big plus and I do not think that the wedding would of have run as smoothly if it wasn't for them. Not only were they personable but I had many complements from my family on how well the staff worked. There are always minor last minute details and according to my family the staff was more than accommodating and always had a helping hand. The food was also delicious. We had a buffet and the food was well presented and tasted great. You may think a buffet in an outdoor venue may not be as fresh by the time all the guests got food but this was not the case. The food was indeed warm, delicious and fresh, even for those who come up for seconds and thirds. The head chef was at the location early in the morning and stayed till the very end to insure that everything ran smoothly with his staff. He did not have to worry because everyone was more than helpful.
Overall my experience with Loulu Palm Estate was incredible. I actually enjoyed my wedding and truly believe it was a beautiful experience. I would most defiantly recommend Loulu Palm Estate to anyone looking to throw a memorable party.

I grew up on the North Shore of Oahu and searched high and low for the perfect location for my wedding and ceremony. I didn't want to have it at a hotel, and I wanted something more private than the beach. And Loulu Palms was the perfect venue. Everyone was so friendly and helpful, and accommodating and wanted to make sure everything was as we wanted it for the special day. We used Loulu Palms catering company and the food was fantastic - guests raved about it - and they we more than willing to customize the menu for us and serve it as we wanted it served. Really, Loulu Palms could not have been more perfect! And if we had to do it all over again, we would do it the exact same way.

I knew the minute I saw Loulu Palm that is was the spot that I wanted for our wedding. It is in beautiful North Shore and the views are incredible. our guests knew immediately when they arrived why we had chosen Loulu Palm. Linda was easy to work with and the fees were reasonable in my opinion.
We shuttled guests from Turtle Bay Resort (a great hotel where most of our guests stayed) to Loulu Palm, which is only about a mile away. There is also parking at Loulu Palm for those guests who chose to drive themselves to and from.
The weather cooperated and the night was absolutely perfect!

We had a destination wedding and didn't know what to expect. We planned our wedding through emails, phone calls and websites so being the bride I was very stressed. As soon as we saw the location, pictures or words can't even describe how beautiful Loulu Palms Estate really is. We never thought this place would be as beautiful as we saw on the website. We were very impressed and highly recommend this location for a romantic sunset wedding. It was just perfect. Despite minor delays on returning out calls it was well worth it.

My Loulu Palm experience started off rough due to some unprofessional people working for them BUT once they went under new management things turned around. The new management was easy to work with and wanted to do everything they could to please me and they did!!
This location is like no other in this area. It is very private and you feel like it is just you and your guests. There are no other tourists etc walking by. It is very quiet too and off the beaten path. The beauty is undeniably gorgeous!! The stunning beach and mountains behind tell it all. The grounds are well kept and the house is newly furnished and painted. It is comfortable and clean.
I believe Loulu Palm is the best value because you can hire your own caterer of your choice as well as bring our own alcohol and not get charged the outrageous hotel costs. You have a lot of flexibility at this location to really make it your own original wedding and not some cliche. I do advise though to hire a wedding planner since you need to organize everything and it can get overwhelming doing it yourself.
