Kualoa Ranch Hawaii

We had our wedding ceremony at Moli'i Gardens inside of Kualoa Ranch after having never been there, and the location was absolutely amazing! Beautiful spot for a small wedding of say 10-50 people. it wasn't too hot by the lake with enough shade. The location made for beautiful photos, and booking the site was easy through ranch staff. The only difficult part is getting everyone to the ranch from their hotels if they are staying out of the area and aren't driving.

Kualoa Ranch is an absolutely stunning location and we had our Wedding Ceremony on Secret Beach followed by our Reception at Moli'i Gardens. It was a dream and we along with all of our guests had our jaws drop in wonder at the Paradise that surrounded us. We were able to enjoy mountains, a lake, a private beach, and lush tropical tiered gardens for our Wedding Day- can't beat that! I initially reviewed the property with Dean 6 months prior to the wedding and he was a great guide. We had access to use our own vendors which was a big plus to us. For the Wedding we had our guests meet at the boat dock and staff took guests, then the bridal party across the lake to Secret Beach. It was stunning! The staff was pleasant and patient with guests and ourselves afterwards. Secret Beach was well maintained and completely private for our ceremony which was something that was a "must" for us. Be advised that there is a short window of time on the beach and everything needs to be broken down right after the ceremony. Moli'i Gardens was lush, serene, and perfectly private for our smaller wedding party. The lawn was green and perfectly landscaped (I had seen it not doing so well in earlier months). We enjoyed the lower level near the lake for the Mocktail Hour and then flowed up the upper level garden and into the pavilion for the Reception. Great location to get out of the crowds and have privacy in a rather untouched part of the island. Facilities were well maintained and we also had a seamless rehearsal. Definitely bring mosquito repellant as it is such a lush tropical environment and there were quite a few out at dusk. The event needs to be broken down the evening of the wedding or by the early hours of the morning the following day, as there are tight hours to vacate the property and that can put a time crunch on the event as well as with your vendors to ensure you recieve your deposit back. We would have liked to enjoy the property a bit longer in the evening. We had little contact with the staff and it is a pretty busy venue so that wasn't a suprise to us. Excellent - Cannot say enough great things about the staff, and the LOCATION! Paliku Gardens is where we had our wedding, and every person was amazed at the breathtaking views and how the grounds were so well kept. The coordinators, Robin and Dean were always accessable, no matter what time of the day we called.\r\n\r\nWe were able to bring in any musician or caterer, and that was important to us. We had a lot of flexibility, they work with you accessing the property early if possible, and it was a dream!\r\n\r\n

Moli'i Gardens was the perfect setting for our wedding! The staff at Kualoa Ranch were very helpful when it came to setting up our ceremony rehearsal, and we received our deposit back exactly 2 weeks after the wedding, not bad! The prices were quite a bit better than other vendors on Oahu (such as private estates or Lanikuhonua). It's a bit out of the way but it's perfect for a private, lush, smaller wedding. We were married on the lower lever next to the fishpond, and had the reception in the pavillion. Our only issue is that it poured just before the ceremony and everything was drenched. But the rain is why it's so beautiful there!

We didn't have too much contact with the staff, but they were easy to work with, and the location was perfect. We couldn't have asked for anything more!

We had our wedding at Moilii Garden on Kualoa Ranch. It was just fabulous! :)

I loved Moli'i Gardens for our wedding venue. It was quiet, out of the way from tour groups and the Ranch noise, and it was absolutely gorgeous! Robin & Dean were flexible and easy to deal with. We even got our cleaning deposit back fairly quickly, which was nice. The only issue was the day of the wedding the small kitchen area was locked so we had to wait for someone to open it up before the decorating began. Just a FYI, since the garden consists of an upper and lower lawn, there is a decent amount of walking that guests have to do on grassy areas, so make sure they wear sensible shoes.

Kualoa Ranch (specifically Moli'i Gardens) is a beautiful place for your wedding. It is out of the way, shaded and cool, and naturally beautiful, which definetely saves money on flowers. The only thing that was an issue is they had tour groups running a little late, so they were staring at our ceremony, but thats the price you pay for getting married in paradise.

Moli'i Gardens is absolutely beautiful. The grounds are nicely maintained (mind you it is not a formal garden-style, but everything is clearly very clean and well-kept). The facilities are nice and clean as well. Several guests commented that the wedding site was really awe-inspiring and spectacular. Even guests who complained it was "too far" from Honolulu, said that being at the site makes the drive all worthwhile, as it is truly gorgeous. My main complaint with Kualoa Ranch is that they tend to not be immediately responsive. But as other reviewers said, the management is very casual and laid back themselves, and as a result, they are also flexible as well.

The staff were laid back and really nice. They tried to be very helpful and worked out great deals for activities during the day. We did ATV riding and the jungle expedition tour, both of which were really fun. At times the staff was a little unorganized; they "lost" our check for the reception site, called us for non payment, but eventually found it. Even with the "lost" check, it didn't turn out to be too much of a problem because they didn't seem too worried about it, so in turn, we didn't worry about it. The site itself was gorgeous and spacious. We held our reception at Moli'i Gardens. It had a large pavilion with a kitchen, a top garden, and another garden, pavilion, and pond at the lower level.

Moli'i Gardens at Kualoa Ranch was absolutely beautiful, it was the perfect spot for our wedding and reception. We had to change the venue 4 months before the wedding, and what we got was less expensive and more perfect for us. Jenny was absolutely fabulous and I very highly recommend Kualoa Ranch.
