Jana did an amazing job! Everyone that looks at our wedding photos says I had a wow, beautiful, stunning, breathtaking, incredible, lovely wedding. And I owe it all to Jana. She gave us a tasteful and romantic wedding. It was absolutely beautiful. I wish I could re-live it over and over again.

Exquisite Hawaiian Weddings were truly exceptional! Being a native from Sweden it goes without saying that planning your weeding in Hawaii can be quite tricky! We met Jana Heetland on location in Hawaii approximately 8 months before our weeding and we felt an instant connection. Jana understood straight away what we were looking for and helped us putting together our dream weeding. Through Jana we found the perfect location for our weeding on Sun Set beach and we ended up renting two large villas for us and our guests…magic! We were not looking for an “off-the shelf” wedding and Jana put in a lot of time and effort to create the setting for a magical tailor-made beach ceremony along with an absolutely gorgeous set-up for our garden dinner.We were introduced to some truly special people ranging from hair/makeup, minister, performers, to our own personal chef – all with a very personal touch. Jana was amazing to work with and made our special day magical! Originally she was just going to be our wedding planner, but her amazing skills and talent led her to also do our flowers and decor...which were beautiful!! All our guests were so amazed with how everything looked and Jana truly executed the vision that my husband and I had for our wedding day. We had wanted a modern, sleek look with vibrant florals and Jana's taste was exceptional. She paid attention to the little details (which I really appreciated) and put all her heart into making sure that everything looked fantastic. Whether that meant sending me pictures of decor pieces she found or coming up with neat ideas to go with our vision, Jana was always on the job. Additionally, she made sure that all our unique needs were met because we were having a traditional Indian ceremony in Hawaii as a destination wedding...not an easy task. As a person, Jana is super likable and easy to get along with and she always kept up her enthusiasm throughout the whole planning process.I highly recommend Exquisite Hawaiian Weddings and am so grateful for everything Jana did for us. It really was the best day of our lives, thanks to Jana!

Our experience with Exquisite Hawaiian Weddings was Great. We were so nervous and Jana had it all under control the venue was amazing and her flowers and helpers were the best ever. She was so calm and ready for us when we got there. We needed more communication and didn't truly feel comfortable until we arrived but our worries were totally unnecessary. She was great. I would recommend her highly!

Jana made our wedding wonderful. She is highly knowledgeable in the vendors on the Hawaiian Islands and everything looked like it was from a magazine.

Very easy to book and received detailed response on what to expect related to service. Initially hired for wedding planning service only but ended up adding decorations and flowers, which were spectacular. Would have liked more direction and suggestions on day-of-wedding items such as timing and photos. Expected planner to be more pro-active with some items and to provide a little more basic counselling such as 'SMILE!' or 'slow down' during the day-of.Overall was very happy with wedding. Would recommend to friends but perhaps have maid-of-honor or close friend be part of the discussions with wedding planner for any missing items.

Exquisite Hawaiian Weddings gave us an unforgettable wedding!! It was almost perfect...Just a little disappointed with our wedding cake, which wasn't delivered on time, wasn't decorated at all and came with the wrong stuff!! But that was the wedding cake vendor's mistake...hope they'll pay more attention to the details in the future!! Overall, Exquisite Hawaiian Weddings done a wonderful job and was really pleasant working with them!!! Thank you Jana!!

Our experience with Jana was unfortunately less than satisfactory. We hired her 10 months prior to our wedding date over a telephone interview. We live all the way across the Pacific so we hired her to be our wedding designer and coordinator as well as floral designer. Our initial communication with her went pretty well. She was responsive and quite descriptive in her emails to get ideas about what we wanted. Down to 3 months before the wedding was when the problems started to arise. We thought given the length of wait time, she probably forgot a lot of the details we went over so we tried to help by writing a list of descriptions of what we wanted including picture references. We sent her pictures to help her kick start some ideas of her own. She ended up just copying most of the floral designs from the pictures instead of designing on her own to cater to us. Further communication with her made us realize that she had not bothered to read it our emails thoroughly because she kept coming back to us with the wrong information. It all went downhill from there. We went back and forth several times because she couldn't get the linen color coordination correct. It was only TWO colors. The worst part was wedding day execution. There were so many hiccups we don't even know where to begin talking about it. Late arrival of flowers, music lapses, program not distributed, wrong linen color, plus a long zig zag walk down the aisle...etc. Overall, our expectations were not met due to her lack of attention to details. She did not make us feel that this wedding was meant only for us, but that it was just any another wedding she was working on.
